We came across Alex after learning about a young boy who had been left abandoned in a house. Alex was living with a disability and was in a situation where he was vulnerable and without the care and protection every child deserves.

For us, this was more than simply hearing about a child in need. It was a reminder that behind every difficult circumstance is a child with a story, a personality, dreams, and a future that matters.

Seeing the Child, Not the Circumstances

Alex's disability should never have been a reason for him to be forgotten or left behind. Children living with disabilities can face additional barriers to care, education, inclusion, and opportunity.

When we found Alex, our first concern was his safety and wellbeing. We wanted to make sure that he was no longer facing his circumstances alone.

His situation reminded us of why Kindha Cares Foundation exists: to stand alongside vulnerable children and help create pathways toward safety, dignity, care, education, and opportunity.

A New Chapter

Supporting a child is not about one moment of assistance. It is about walking alongside them and helping create the conditions in which they can grow and thrive.

For Alex, that means connecting him with the care and support he needs, while continuing to look at the wider opportunities that can help him build a more hopeful future.

His journey is still unfolding. But finding Alex was an important reminder that sometimes hope begins with something very simple: someone noticing a child, choosing to care, and refusing to look away.
