Kindha Cares Foundation was not born from a boardroom. It was born from experience from a childhood lived without enough, and a conviction that no child should face that journey alone.
A Foundation Born From Lived Experience
Kindha Cares Foundation was not born in a boardroom. It was born from experience.
Founder Shaka Kindha grew up as an orphan in Eastern Uganda and knows firsthand the pain of growing up without basic needs and support.
By the grace of God, Shaka made it through. His experience became a calling: to stand with children facing the same struggles and give them hope for a better future.
That calling became Kindha Cares Foundation.
The Reality Children Face in Uganda
Across Uganda, too many children grow up facing challenges no child should have to carry alone. Hunger, poverty, lack of clothing, lack of clean drinking water, education, healthcare, and the loss of parental care can make childhood painfully difficult.
For some children, the struggle becomes so great that they are left with nowhere to turn and may end up on the streets simply trying to survive.
At Kindha Cares, we believe every child deserves to be cared for, protected, and given a chance to dream.
A difficult beginning should never decide how a child's story ends.

To restore hope and create opportunity for vulnerable children in Uganda by helping them access basic needs, education, care, and the support they need to grow with dignity and build a better future.

We want to acquire a reliable vehicle to help us reach more children and families, transport supplies, and deliver our programs more effectively.
A Vocational School
We envision a technical and vocational school where young people can learn practical skills, become self-reliant, earn a living, and create opportunities for their future.
