That is why I founded Kindha Cares Foundation. I grew up as an orphan in Eastern Uganda. Life was difficult and, at times, unbearable. By the grace of God, i made it through. Today, that experience drives me to stand with children who are facing the kind of hardship I once knew.
A Foundation Born From Lived Experience
Kindha Cares Foundation was born from a personal journey of hardship, hope, and compassion. It began with a simple belief: every child deserves to feel loved, valued, cared for, and hopeful about their future..
Kindha grew up as an orphan in Eastern Uganda, experiencing firsthand the challenges of growing up without the care and support every child deserves. By the grace of God, he overcame those challenges, and his journey inspired a deep compassion for children facing similar struggles.
Today, Shaka stands with orphaned and vulnerable children, offering compassion, hope, and dignity. This commitment became Kindha Cares Foundation a place where every child knows they matter and can dream of a brighter future.
That conviction became Kindha Cares Foundation.

Across Uganda East Africa,there are over 2.9 million orphaned and vulnerable children that face a daily struggle for the basic needs and opportunities that every child deserves (UBOS)
For children who have lost one or both parents, life can become especially difficult. Many grow up without consistent access to nutritious food, proper clothing, clean water, education, healthcare, or the love and guidance of a stable support system.
When these needs go unmet, children can become increasingly vulnerable to neglect, exploitation, homelessness, and other hardships. Some may eventually find themselves on the streets, simply trying to survive.
We believe that losing a parent, growing up in poverty, or facing difficult circumstances should never determine a child's future.
